 Hi everyone! Hope you had a great Fourth of July, and got to spend some good time with the people you love! Summer is definitely a lot slower, and so it is a tiny update, but some fun pictures for you all!  Sweet Moments       Julianne got married! Here is a sweet pic I got of her and Emily!  My brother and sister in law popped by during their layover in Dallas! It was so fun just getting to see them! Kassidy and I got to check out the Taylor Swift collection at the Arlington Museum of Art! It was so neat!   Here is Remi and I, he is just so stinking cute!  I got to get time with Sam! She is one of our students, she is so thoughtful and kind.  Hi guys! Hope you are having a good summer, and getting to spend some time relaxing with friends and family! I am sure you wonder what does a college pastor do in the summer when a lot of the students are gone. It is actually a great time to connect with different students from other campuses, or meet with the students who are in town, something a lot of my colleagues and I love is what we call pool ministry! It is getting with different students and spending some quality relational time by the pool! Summer is an excellent time to build good relationships! I am also reading through some different books, so if you have any recommendations please leave me a comment. I am trying to read about 3 books a month!  Happy Star Wars Day everyone! The semester is wrapping up this week, and our students are finishing up their finals. It has been such a fun and exciting semester! This past month especially was filled with so many good moments as we closed out the month.  Last Core of the Semester  We wrapped up our core with encouragements to one another, and a beach side picnic in Arlington. We all took pictures and it was so encouraging to spend time with them! These are all pictures of the girls I meet with consistently every week, I LOVE THEM! Baby Mayhem  Children's ministry has been so fun! We got to do an egg hunt for Easter! Getting to add that on to my job this year was so joyous for me, and I just deeply love those kids.  One of my dearest friends had a son earlier in January. He is just the chunkiest and sweetest guy!  Hi everyone! Hope you had a great March, and are starting to plan some good fun things for April.  If you have a chance, please text me or leave a comment with how I can be praying for you.  Spring Break   Some of my friends and I over spring break! We went and visited her grandmother in Bonham again. If you look close enough you will see our matching sweaters :)  Core We did a PowerPoint core where each of the girls could bring a PowerPoint on a book of the Bible, a Christian topic they had question over, or really anything in regards to Faith.  Hope everyone is doing well and that they have had a good February! I am excited to share some fun moments from this past month with you guys. We got to have a super cool event that honored Black History, got to have a worship night about God's love for us, and my birthday was this month! It was a fun filled 28 days!  Proud of our students  One of our students Anna Melton gave a Ted Talk this month on motivation, and what motivates us. It was so cool that she as a Sophomore was able to present at this conference. Some of us girls went and supported her doing this!  RELEASE     A pastor with UTD has formed this internal group with FOCUS called B.L.I.S.S, which stands for Black Lives in Soulful Solidarity. This month B.L.I.S.S put on a show called RELEASE in honor of black history month, there was a Kickin Brass Band from New Orleans, some students who sang the Negro National Anthem which I had never heard of!  Hi friends and family! Hope you are staying warm if you live in the DFW area as everything is covered with ice and snow. This past month was filled with lots of fun and exciting moments with our students that I am so excited to share with you.  We have also started back at school a couple weeks ago, and it has been so busy and so fun! Winter Retreat  These are some pics with the UTA girls and our whole group at the bottom right. All of the UTA girls stayed in one cabin together and when we got in the cabin it felt like a family reunion. Also that is my friends baby, and I love him. He and I also got  a picture together at Winter Retreat together last year.  This is my TCC core! Arisa and I are in matching shirts! She and I study FOJ together and she is so neat. Then in the Gazebo is some of the guys in our core. The bigger group picture is the whole of TCC between NE and SE campuses. It is such a neat thing because we just planted those campuses LAST YEAR....

Happy New Year! I hope you all had great holidays and got to spend some good time with friends and family. I got some Christmas Cards from you all and they are so sweet. I have them on my fridge still! December is kind of slow ministry wise, but I have some sweet updates on students and our staff!  Christmas Moments We had a staff Christmas dinner and the top left photo is of our entire staff. We have grown so much! Then the bottom left is everyone who did the apprenticeship with me last year who stayed on staff. It is such a joy to work with everyone!  Proud Moments Two of my closest friends graduated. Caroline graduated with a degree in Biology and Jessica graduated with a degree in Elementary Ed. The four of us on the left met our freshman year in college and have been friends for 7 years. We have been apart of this ministry all together.
