Too Many Things to Be Thankful For

Hi guys! I hope you had a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving! I was able to spend some time with my Mom's side of the family, as well as my brother flew into town from Montana. I was very grateful to have that time with my family, and I thought in the spirit of thankfulness I would share some other things I am thankful for with you guys! I am number one very thankful for all of you and how you support me in ministry, and love me!

Classes and Learning

I am thankful for the opportunity to learn and take graduate level classes with some of my favorite people. Here we are after our last Old Testament class. We wrote a final paper on How should a Christian read and use the Old Testament? That was an interesting prompt that wrapped us up for the class!

Extra Family Time

The holidays for me mean some extra family time. I was extra blessed this month with my brother coming into town. He is one of my favorite people so I always feel lucky when I get to see him. Then also just with the ability of some of my family living closer I was able to watch my cousin play in one of his high school playoff games! I also was apart of my mom's wedding this month, so this month involved some extra family time which was very fun!

Student friendships

I am so thankful for how the ministry at Tarrant County College is going! I had the joy of getting to go watch one of students help out with tech in a play this past month. Then I am also just so thankful for our student leaders. This past month we had an event called Pizza Theo on a topic called " How to Think like a Christian", we were discussing different viewpoints of bigger topics. They committed their Sunday Night to learning heavier topics and going deeper into their faith! I am just constantly impressed by them!

May Ministry Updates

August Ministry Updates

Hi everyone! Freshmen are moved in and we are getting ready for such a fun year of ministry to kick off officially. This past month has felt like a whirlwind with getting advertising ready, social media put tighter, and prepping our corefa team for this year!  Friends got Married Two of my good friends got married recently! I was so excited to participate in their wedding!  Staff Retreat Fun Going to staff retreat is always a highlight of the summer. We had really neat sessions on abiding in Jesus, and then just how that is impactful in ministry in a bunch of other areas.  Life Updates  I have been reading this book lately, it is very impactful. It is discussing God’s heart for sinners. Then that the first way Jesus is described is as gentle and lowly, that is how his heart is for people. It is really neat.  I also wanted to share that I have the opportunity that I go to Kenya this December as apart of a mission trip with the organization Hope’s Promise! T...

Comment down below what you love the most about summer! I am excited to tell you about the many fun and amazing things that God was able to do with our ministry. I am also so thankful for all of you reading these updates and praying for these students.   Outreach at Tarrant County College  We were able to do an outreach event at TCC this semester, and it was called "Bad Tattoos". It was so fun and it was based on us using water and those fun press on tattoos. We were able to talk and meet with many different people on campus, and one girl came to our core after the event. In the red sweatshirt is Jacob from core who is helping lead the outreach event.  Sweet Spring Memories with Fun Friends  Here is us in Bonham visiting  Emily's grandmother  We had some girls over for a movie night and it was so sweet get...
